More than 1500 speakers have confirmed their participation in the WOC 2008 Scientific Program, and will be delivering presentations at over 250 scientific sessions that cover 28 subspecialty areas in ophthalmology. Plans for the program are on track, and the organizing committee is striving to compile a preliminary timetable from the information submitted so far of each of the scientific sessions. Tentative timetables is now published on the WOC website, and will be updated from time to time, so stay tuned for the latest news, dates, and more. |

Gala Dinner Announcement: We are pleased to announce the WOC 2008 Gala Dinner

Scheduled to be held on Jun 29, 2008 at the Grand Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, the gala dinner will be serving a sumptuous variety of Chinese and Western cuisine in a warm, relaxing atmosphere, where delegates will be able to sample international culinary delights while mingling with fellow delegates and conducting social- and business-networking. We look forward to welcoming delegates to an evening of fine food, fellowship and entertainment! The WOC would like to thank Santen for their contribution to support the Gala Dinner. Watch out for the annoucement of the ticket sale!
