MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR Scientific Program Committee, WOC 2008
It is a great pleasure to add my welcome to the World Ophthalmology Congress 2008 in Hong Kong. I am confident that this will be an outstanding scientific meeting. The leadership and organization for the 28 specialties and subspecialties will be provided by a Who's Who of international leaders in ophthalmology as our scientific coordinators.These internationally respected leaders are recruiting outstanding moderators and chairs and, together, they ensure that we will have the best speakers from around the world.
We are all excited and most fortunate that Hong Kong is the venue for the World Ophthalmology Congress 2008. In addition to its dynamic people and natural beauty, e.g. its harbor and its skyline, Professor Dennis Lam and the Hong Kong organizers and team have arranged world class convention facilities and venues for our meeting. The logistics and most technologically up to date systems guarantee that we will have the form to match the world class substance provided by our speakers.
The world leaders in industry in our field have committed and we are therefore guaranteed to have outstanding technical exhibits.
I hope to see you in June 2008 in Hong Kong for what will be a most important and most memorable scientific meeting.
